I FEEL PRETTY

New avatar time, folks. Come on, not only did I wear my pink shirt (a standard) for this one, but if you look close, its my favorite one - says I FEEL PRETTY on the front.

Now, I drive my lil' truck around with the veteran's plates and the 101st Airborne sticker on it, with my OEF (Operation Enduring Freedom - Afghanistan) sticker, as well as the anarchy symbol, the free thinker's atom, and "coexist" sign, and no one ever says anything about my shirt. Some compliments, from those who are braver than most, I guess, but never a criticism.

I guess folks just don't know what to think, here in the buckle of the Bible Belt. I had to make the shirt, I'm still thinking about marketing them. Just gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling way down in the cockles of my heart.

Now, if I can do all that, certainly y'all can get some new avatars up there, eh?

Pink is my color, I've assimilated it. It's individuality will be added to the collective.

I don't know, Chris, my files are pretty big - all unmodified 14MP images, they upload just fine, though. Is it the format they're stored in?

Yep you are right Will, this one is 300 plus kb and it loaded fine.

Stroppy are you doing the browse, finding your picture, hitting open on the picture you want, then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click save changes?

If you don't save changes (which is easy to miss) nothing will happen.

Stroppy it needs to be the actual size of an avatar like you see us using. Cannot be bigger. If you'd like to send me the photo I can do it for you, or you can use these directions:

Helen, I think that you're on to a solution with that save changes thing :giggle:

Lisa, the forum software always resizes my avatar pics for me. They are just ripped, whole and bloody, from my computer's library of 14.1 and 14.3 MP image stock, no resizing or adjustment.

Linda, military history is fascinating. It always seems to be written by the winners, though.
