American Crinium-hardy
butterfly ginger-hardy
carolina Bacopa

I am a little lost on the best way to handle them, right now they are at water surface, i.e. clay level with surface of water. I know you said to sink them in the fall, can they be deeper when growing?

i.e. bulb below water level. Some sites say damp not wet others say constant wet. I am just not sure how deep the crown can be. I want to make sure I put the pot at the right water level

From looking up the caroling barcopa it appears to be a under water plant, so stick in oil pan totally under water?

HELP! lol

Thanks

The criniums both do best with weet feet-dry ankles during growing season-so water level with crowns of the bulbs...and just sink them thru the winter....the carolina bacapo should be planted much like your forget -me- nots and creeping jenny--it can be tucked in a rock at the edge of the pond and it will grow out onto the water or it can be used as a ground cover in your bog area, or even used in the stream area...

Thanks a lot, just wanted to make sure I didn't hurt them. Appreciate the info.

The bog is full! so it will be rock planted along the pond, and some in the stream.
