Honest Vendor Review

Folks, I'm a fairly skeptical guy. I don't tend to believe much of what I hear, and even less of what I see online. Never believed in Santa or altruism or Jesus or anything. So, what I say is usually my opinion, or based upon personally experienced fact.

I liked this forum from all I read and saw, but meeting in person with CarolinaGirl (Cindy) and KoiKeeper (Lisa) made a great impression on me, and won my respect and participation here.

That said, I have now dealt with both of our member vendors, Birdman (Steve) and WeWilly (Bill). I have to say that, if anyone doubts their integrity and commitment to service, I have personally experienced both from both, and will not hesitate to contact them again when needed. I have to add that both Bill and Steve are helpful in the extreme with orders, and (rare, in this world) seem to be more concerned with helping customers succeed in this addiction of ponding than making money.

Now, I could easily compare them to drug pushers who give "free samples" to get folks addicted, but I'm in denial of my addiction and choose not to go there. :big smile:

Anyway, just saying to anyone in doubt, these guys have better prices, service, and follow up than anyone in the business that I've seen. They ship a lot faster, too.

Will, your vendor review is greatly appreciated and it's important to give a shout out to vendors who are truly awesome and serve the pond community well. I can vouch for both Steve and Bill as well having purchased from both of them (and send friends who are buying equipment their way as well).

As you all may or may not know, our advertising vendors are exclusively invited to advertise here. We do not just allow someone to put a banner here simply because they've thrown a few dollars our way. We ensure that they are vendors that we are very familiar with, and know that they provide a high level of customer service and will take care of a problem should it arise with a product they have sold. Additionally, both Will and Steve will patiently help you through most pond build issues without charging one red cent--they do it for the sheer joy and passion for the hobby.

Those rotating banners you see at the top of page are important to the livelihood of The Pond Forum (and helps pay for server costs), the livelihood of our vendors and for the sanity of our members who are getting a way better deal than they can find anywhere on the internet with a excellent dose of customer service. It's a win for all of us!

Thank you for your review. It's spot on! And I hope our members continue to use our vendors for their supplies--it's way better to use them than some fly-by-night internet seller who you send your money to and you get nothing in return. Go with the pros you know!

I try to go with forum vendors anytime I can...Since they aren't just an operator on the phone--they can help you figure out if what you want is going to work best or if they feel something else would do better....thats just service that you can't get from someone just answering a phone...also these guys use most of the products they sell so they can give you a heads up on them....or tell you if there is another product they like best......
