Has anyone used one of these? I'm curious if anyone is familiar with the accuracy rate + or -.

Yes! I have one. It is also a controller type for CO2 injection. I have to order a new probe for it. I'm going to get a Direct from China one. They are very accurate. There is calibrating formulas to verify. You can also check it against Distilled water and other stuff that you know the exact pH of, along with a test kit. I never had any issues with mine.

I have a ECO pH meter and it's very accurate. You can check or adjust the meter when you use the pH solution that is exactly 7.0 pH

That's what I meant - calibration solutions , not formulas. there is 4.01 , 7.01 and 10.01. They have the .01 so to get it as accurate as possible. The pH moniter usually has an eyeglass arm sized screw to make micro adjustments so you are right on the money!

Just got the probe yesterday from Hong Kong. I haven't had time to play yet, it's still in the box. I will be using it for a monitor for now, but when I get the planted aquarium up and running I'll be using it to control CO2 dosage. I also have good DIY's on DIY CO2 injection. I will be putting all this stuff on our aquarium section when everything slows down - Pond is up and running, kids back in school, all the other projects caught up on, etc.

I have the ECO-Pal Digital pH Meter and it seems to work really well. I have compared it's readings to the liquid test, which is definitely not as precise, and they are always close.

I also have the Koi Medic Salt Meter which I really like. It's way easier than using the liquid test kit, which I had been having trouble finding.

I had one of those salinity meters (refractometer???) that looks like a mini telescope but I hated it and sent it back. Too hard to use.

I use a Milwaukee PH monitor, as well as other instruments. I find it very accurate, but you do need to clean the probe every now and then, and calibrate it.

Hey Steve, welcome to the Board!

I have Milwaukee also. I've tested it against the drop test and they seem to be right on the money.

That is the brand I have, Milwaukee pH controller/monitor. I just got a new probe for it so it's not hooked up yet. Can't wait to get the tanks set up for plants and experiments in the garage. My wife is going to love this!
