    Let's Light it up!

I am getting closer to the end of my build and have started putting some new top soil around parts of the pond. I was thinking about lighting and was wondering if anyone had pictures of their ponds at night? I don't want to go crazy, just a little subdued accent lighting, but not enough where I get no moon/star reflection. Come on I know you have 'em give it up!
    Trust, but verify!

Laughing, we have lights that look like stones, but they are still in boxes. So no, no lights here.

I have an LED light in my waterfall. I need to do a better job with it, but I recommend something in or pointing at the waterfall.
This is my opinion. It is worth exactly what you paid for it.

I like that light that looks like a leaf. Where did you get it? Just looks like yet another natural part of the landscape. If you put that sucker among some flowers, I bet you'd barely even see it.

I have those solar lights that you get a walmart for about 5 bucks each. I have 5 of them and it puts off just enough light to accent to plant so I can see at night. Also, I have 6 LED lights in my pond. They illuminate the water but I could do a better job with the pond lights, but they allow me to see the fish at night.

I have LED lights around my pond that only use 1 watt (equiv of 7 watt incandescent), and they actually do a great job of lighting up my pond area. I've been trying to replace a lot of my old landscape lighting with LED, low wattage lighting this year. It's pricey off the bat, but will hopefully pay for itself over years of usage. I have a single LED in my waterfall, but I think I need to buy one of those three light sets to get more light there. My waterfall mouth really isn't complete yet, and I need to finish it from a decorative perspective this fall. It's just too darn hot right now!

I have two large shade sails over my pond. I used to have a string of white christmas lights around the perimeter of the sail. It cast a beautiful soft light over the whole pond area. But as time passed, a few bulbs burned out and the cords began to fail so I took them down. I need to get more up though...they were beautiful!
