Ray Able passed away this morning

For those of you who knew Ray or knew of him, he had a great passion for high end koi. He will be sorely missed.

No, Tank Hollow is Vance with the longfins. Ray's place is Nishikigoi of Niigata.

Have heard that they will go on with the harvest, as was the wishes of Ray.

I met him once at the Louisville show, a few years back, very knowledgable person.

I have always heard nice things about Ray. He was skilled in raising large koi, in fact, the kohaku that won Grand Champion at the Upper Midwest Koi Club show this summer was one of his. I wish the best for those he leaves behind.

I was not aware of Ray's disease. I had a fellow pond friend pass away from it just 3 years ago.

    Ray, you will be missed.

Ray will be missed, and I never even met him in person. Feel like I did, though, from videos and hearing a lot about him and reading about him.
