    pondmaster 100 air pump question

I got a pondmaster 100 AP in May it has been running a bottom drain , a bio tank and also my boiling K1....last week I noticed no air coming from my bd-I got to looking no air was going into my bio tank either--It was only pushing enough air to run the K1 filter...Thinking it just needed a diaphram kit I picked up two this last Saturday and installed one of them today...still isn't pushing any more air...anyone got any other ideas? It should still be under warrenty but, just wanting to make sure I'm not missing something first...

Aren't you still under warranty? I'd take advantage of it if I were you. Usually the diaphram does the trick. Is it louder than usual? could be the motor perhaps?
This is my opinion. It is worth exactly what you paid for it.

I'm calling them today---I had to get a copy of my reciept from the company I bought it from--
Yes I'm sure I put it back together right--its not louder than usual--but, it is running alot cooler--normally I can't handle it till its off for at least 15-20 minutes....yesterday it was only a little warm when I turned it off--and it had a brown powder in side of it that stunk like burnt wires...

Hmmm...that totally doesn't sound right that you can't handle it. There's something wrong right there and it's clearly overheating. Do you have it covered by something. Sounds like you just might have a lemon.
This is my opinion. It is worth exactly what you paid for it.
