I think this one is a product from the Asagi/ Kohaku cross and the two step is the result of tthe Showa/ Kohaku cross there are sutle difference in the sumi.

This fella is going to join in with these two: ) first 2017 will be the kohaku pairing and the goal will be also to produce koi that can be used as Oyagoi and the Sanke will join them in 2018 to try and produce a Sanke line.

Got to start putting things in place for 2018 season since my Tamaura female kohaku has been patiently waiting for her turn and she will be joined by two Sakai Sanke males and one Rose line Sakai kohaku male.

This is turning out to be a very exciting season my Goshiki from 2014 are being spanned to one of my 2015 kohaku; my Tamaura female kohaku is ready and awaiting for sakai kohaku/Sanke males and last but not least my Omosako Shiros will meet once again, what a great spawning season lays ahead tons of work but a ton of enjoyment.

I've had a few pm's concerning how I build my sponge filters well here it goes; you see the parts that I use, s/s screw and hardware pvc components and a clay pot all for less than 3.00 bucks.
