I believe i found a beautiful SU lady

We had our monthly koi club meeting today and after the meeting I was invited to go see a pond and to my surprise there's a very nice homegrown SU hum!!!!! Maybe the next beginning. Will post pics soon.

I know we want pics but in this case the koi has to get here and thru QT. But I will post pics during the process and don't expect a show fish its what I felt when I saw her, here's my philosophy, garbage in garbage out, her shiro could be a little briter but I can work with that, so get ready for another great journey.

So give the details on why you picked this male?

he was purchased when he was 7.5" but then I could see where the sumi was headed and I had a discussion with Troy (Headache) about sumi remember is was about your SU, but mainly it was the white it was so clean and shiny that's what got my attention and of course the genes its carries. This is what Coach told me a few years ago, males bring color and pattern but based on those two assessments there's still trail and error I don't discard all there's to learn when it comes to culling Shiro Utsuri but that's what these threads are all about you all should be able to cull Goshiki by now at a early stage and its the only male SU I have Lol, thanks Willy.

Well let's try this again, I found what I was hoping for and she's not the local one from the koi club visit, she's also Omosako and all be posting pictures soon. Awesome conformation, the skin is super and about the sumi what can I say she was picked in Japan personally by one of the best in my opinion so lets sit back and enjoy the ride. PS that's what 🎅 liked.

LOL, ok here's another: ) Both of these koi are Omosako so the results should be pretty decent from the beginning, this is a process so starting with good conformation, excellent sumi and great white shiroji should give the fry a good headstart so we will see. But that's one of my goals to be able to produce high quality domestics.
