    Building my gravel filter

    So last summer I built a sideways barrel media pond filter but was not happy with its performance,cleaning the media is like a full time job so I'm trying a gravel filter this year with a UV light .let me know what you guys and gals think..

    Why reinvent the wheel? The Birdman Sand/Gravel Filter is the latest to 35 years of ongoing improvements to the barrel gravel filter.
